How to use Source / Medium Report in Google Analytics
Step-1: Navigate to the ‘Source/Medium’ report:
Step-2: Make sure the date range of the report is set to the last three months.
Step-3: Click on the ‘Ecommerce’ tab of the report.
Step-4: Scroll down to the data table and make note of the top 3 to 5 source/medium in terms of generating website traffic:
Step-5: Sort the data table by ‘Revenue’ metric and then note down the top 3 to 5 source/medium in terms of generating website sales.
Step-6: Now keeping the ‘Source/Medium’ report data in mind and all the understanding that you have developed so far by interviewing your client, to provide insight.
