According to various studies, Facebook is the most effective (in terms of ROI) social media platform for advertisement.

Facebook ads work for both B2C and B2B clients. You can check dozens of success stories to see, how businesses similar to yours are increasing sales and conversions through Facebook marketing.

According to statista, Facebook has more than 2 billion monthly active users.

Majority of the developed world (which include your target audience) is on Facebook now and it would be foolish not to take advantage of this platform for driving traffic, conversions and sales to your website.

I have found Facebook advertisement so cost effective that not only I do Facebook advertisement for my clients but also for my own business.

Following is the screenshot of the performance of one of my Facebook Campaigns. Take a close look at the ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). It is 5.17:


A ROAS of 5.17 means, for every dollar I spent on Facebook ads, I get $5.17 in return.

I do not really have any big budget and I am not a very big brand. But I have managed to consistently sell very high priced items (worth $498 courses) on Facebook which many will tell you, is simply not possible.

I do not have tens of thousands or millions of followers on Facebook like other big brands out there. Nor do I spend $10k/$20k a day on Facebook ads.

If you look at the ‘reach’ column above, it is just 9k people. But my ads are reaching to the right people, my core target audience. That’s the difference. That’s why I don’t need lot of reach to generate sales.

Majority of retailers out there sell items below $100, on Facebook and they mostly target random people. Because of that they need to target a very large audience which increases their ad spend and decrease ROAS.

I am a Facebook power user and I have handled big budget Facebook marketing campaigns for many brands including SaboSkirt (who have got around half a million fans on Facebook) with ROAS as high 6 or 7. So for every dollar spent on advertising, the client got $6 to $7 in return.

Following is my process for setting up, running and managing Facebook ads:

Step-1: Correctly set up Facebook Business Manager Account. You would need to handle the billing/payment set up part. I can adjust other settings.

Step-2: Integrate Facebook with your website, so that we can re-market website visitors via Facebook ads. Your developers help will be required here as we would need to add different Facebook pixel codes on the website.

Step-3: Set up Facebook Conversion Tracking so that we can track ROAS within Facebook. Your developers help will be required here for adding code.

Step-4: Setup Facebook Fan Page. This would be more than creating the Fan page. I will edit its settings for best performance. I will add negative keywords to it, so that people who leave negative reviews are visible only to them and their friends. And this is likely to happen. Because when customers are unhappy they yell on social media.

Step-5: Setup and run Facebook campaigns via Power Editor and/or AdExpresso.

Step-6: Run remarketing campaigns in order to improve ROAS.

Step-7: Analyze the performance of the campaigns and optimize them for conversions.
