Data Source Version History in Looker Studio

Note: Google Data Studio is now known as Looker Studio.

While editing a data source schema, you get the option to see the version history of the data source schema:

Use the ‘See version history‘ setting to view and/or restore previous versions of the data source schema. 

As you edit a data source schema, Looker Studio keeps a history of your changes in the form of versions.

Version history lets you view previous revisions and show when they were created and by whom. You can also restore a previous version of the data source schema if needed.

To change the ‘Version History’ setting, follow the steps below:

Step-1: Click on the ‘clock’ icon:

Step-2: Select the previous version you want to see and/or restore:

Step-3: Once you have selected a version then click on the ‘Restore this version’ button:

Step-4: Click on the ‘Restore’ button:
